Tumeric Latte
Tumeric is supposed to be great for inflammation, so when I stumbled upon this recipe I knew I had to make it. (In recovery from Lyme disease, still have lots of inflammation) I warn you, this is no small undertaking. I recommend wearing gloves as my fingers turned yellow, I got stains on my counter that did come out with some work, and I stepped away from the stove for just a min I swear, and the damn thing boiled over making a huge mess. Perhaps I'll try again as it was an interesting flavor. Not sure if it helped my inflammation or not (I'm doing multiple things for inflammation so hard to pinpoint). I would also recommend making a double, tripple, or even quadruple batch if making it, because it's so much work. Can make and leave in fridge for a few days. I also had some difficulty pouring from the pot into a glass. May want to use a funnel. I did also worry about it staining my teeth if it stained my counter so easily.
