Rhubarb Simple Syrup



 Make this syrup to be used in multiple delicious drinks.

Ingredients

  • 3 Cups rhubarb
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup water

Instructions

  1. Put the sugar and water in a saucepan and stir over low heat until sugar dissolves.
  2. Add the rhubarb and bring to a simmer until it softens. Leave to cool.
  3. Strain over a bowl, pressing down on the rhubarb to extract the juice. Transfer the syrup to a jar or use immediately.
