Witch's Cauldron
Made from the Witchcraft Cocktail recipe book I got in Salem, all the ladies at our Halloween party weren't to jazzed about the promises of fertility this cocktail boasted, but were a little more excited about the love and wealth aspects of this magical cocktail. It's a bit boozy, as I'm learning all the cocktails in the book are. A splash (not measured) of pomegranate juice left over from making the grenadine that goes in this baby softens the punch a little.
Makes 1 drink.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 TBSP apple brandy
- 1 1/2 TBSP dark rum
- 1 TBSP lime juice
- 1 TBSP homemade witchcraft grenadine
- 1/2 TBSP pomegranate liqueur
- 1 1/2 ounces (1 jigger) of blood orange juice
- 1 TBSP apple juice
- Optional extra pomegranate juice to taste if too boozy.
Instructions:
- Place all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice.
- Shake while 'focusing your energy into empowering the ingredients' - perhaps not whatever ingredient promotes fertility!

*Note: I made this for a party and made 6 drinks at once in a pitcher instead. 1 1/2 TBSP time six is 1 cup + 1 TBSP. :)
**Note: If living in the Madison area, the only place I've been able to find Blood Orange juice (and I looked at about 6 different grocery stores) is Woodmans, in the coolers by the produce.
