Jamaica (Cold brew hibiscus iced tea)
Ordered this for lunch this at a Mexican restaurant in Utah. It was tasty so I decided to make it. It was quite easy to make. A bit tart, if you like tart.
Can also used to make a hibiscus shandy, which was a drink I had for dinner the same day at a different restaurant in Utah.
Makes several
Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup dried hibiscus tea leaves
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 4 cups cold water
- 2 TBSP to 1/4 cup simple syrup (I used 3 TBSP)
Instructions:
- Put hibiscus leaves, and cinnamon stick in a tea container to diffuse in 4 cups water.
- Refrigerate for 8-12 hours.
- Discard solids.
- Add simple syrup
- Serve.

Ok so I know this has nothing to do with the drink, but this is the fabulous Mexican food!
