Rhubarb Gimlet


 

A fun twist to a gimlet. 

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In cocktail shaker add ice and all ingredients. 
  2. Shake (a good 30 seconds).
  3. Strain into a small but cute glass. 
*Note, it was a bit sweeter than I expected. If you like it sweet, keep as is.  If not, you could add a little extra lime juice (I did add a splash to mine) or use a little less than a full ounce of of simple syrup. I suppose the gin was infused with sugar, and then also used simple syrup...

*Note original recipe uses rhubarb simple syrup and regular gin.  Someday I hope to try it this way too. Here is a link to the recipe for rhubarb simple syrup.
