Hazelnut Cold Brew Coffee
In South Korea, one of my favorite things was a hazelnut iced coffee that you would get for $1 at the convenient store. It would come in a little pouch, and you would take it to the cash register and they would give you a cup with ice, and you would pour the pouch in. It was cheap, easy, and delicious. Closest thing in the states is a considerably more expensive iced coffee from a coffee shop with a shot of hazelnut syrup for an additional fee. So... let's make some!
Ingredients:
- 14 TBSP ground coffee
- Freshlock coffee maker
- Milk
- Torani Hazelnut Syrup
Instructions:
- Add 14 TBSP of coffee grounds to the infuser on the coffee maker. Fill with water, seal, and shake.
- Place in refrigerator for 24 hours.
- Place 2-3 ice cubes in glass. Pour into glass about 2/3 of the way full. Add hazelnut syrup to your taste (I did 2 tsp for this roughly 12 oz glass). Top with milk to your taste.
Use different flavored coffee grounds and different syrups to experiment with different flavored coffees.
This was made using only the directions on the Freshlock coffee maker and my own tastes.
