The Prosperous Pumpkin

Another Witchcraft Cocktail book entry, this one also packs a punch.  This is certainly a dessert drink, and certainly boozy. Could try halving the bourbon if it's too boozy for your taste.  Supposedly supposed to bring magical prosperity. 

Makes 1 cocktail

Ingredients:

• 1 TBSP canned pumpkin puree
• 1 1/2 TBSP real maple syrup
• 1 TBSP half and half
• 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
• 1/8 teaspoon nutmeg - plus more for sprinkling 
• 1 1/2 ounce (1 jigger) bourbon
• whipped cream

Instructions:

1. Put all ingredients in cocktail shaker except whipped cream. 
2. Add ice and shake generously to ensure pumpkin puree is thoroughly mixed. 
3. Strain into a martini glass, or similar smaller glass.  
4. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle a little nutmeg on top.

*Note: I made this for a group of people, 6 servings.  1 and 1/2 TBSP is 1 cup and 1 TBSP.  Happy mathing!
