Raspberry Gin and Tonic - 2 ways
This raspberry (gin?) was an impulse buy at Woodman's. Here's a drink I made from their website. A little simplified. Because pink tonic?
Makes 2 drinks.
Ingredients:
- 100 ml gin
- 50 ml tonic (I didn't measure, just topped off our drinks)
- 50 ml Edinburgh Gin's Raspberry (gin? Liqueur?)
- Handful of fresh raspberries to puree
- 10 mint leaves
Instructions for improvisational style (photo below):
- Puree raspberries and mint.
- Put ice in 2 glasses. With all ingredients except tonic, split and pour into 2 glasses.
- Stir. Top with tonic.
*Original just had the drinks garnished with raspberries and mint. Pureeing some just gave it a more intense flavor.
Instructions for Original Recipe style (first photo):
- Mix raspberry gin, gin, and tonic in glass with ice.
- Add a few mint leaves and fresh raspberries to garnish (no pureeing) I did not have these items, hence not in photo
