Grape-Basil Mocktail
An alternative to a boozy summer.
Makes 1 drink.
Ingredients:
- 12 Basil leaves
- 5 green grapes
- 1 oz lime juice
- 1 oz simple syrup
- Seltzer water or sparkling water
Instructions:
- In a cocktail shaker, muddle basil leaves and lime juice. Once thoroughly muddled, add green grapes and muddle some more.
- Add simple syrup and add ice to cocktail shaker. Shake until well chilled.
- Strain into cocktail galas and top with a couple ounces seltzer or sparkling water. (Original recipe states 1-2 ounces. I likely did about 3)
- Ice optional, as it is pre-chilled. I used ice to help fill glass. Garnish with lime wedges if desired.

Sorry for my crooked photo, but this is how it looked pre-straining!
